The Sidekick Receiver offers the same monitoring and alerting capabilities as the personal receiver. This alerting system can be used with optional vibrator sold separately. Easy to install plug into a standard electrical outlet. The alerting device is recommended to be plugged into a Silent Call battery backup so that you can still be alerted if there is a power failure. The battery backup also works as a surge protector in case of a lightning storm so you won't damage or interrupt your silent call equipment from operating properly.
