Better and worse than the previous model, 1/18/2017 9:39 AM
BETTER - better quality neckloop, cloth instead of plastic insulation which does harden and break in a few years, slightly better sound quality, uses a standard min micro USB to charge instead of a proprietary plug that is expensive and easy to short out, can be used while charging, the old one can't and that's horrible on long trips.
WORSE - everyone I talk to complains that the transmitting voice volume is far too low, everyone wants me to speak up so I have to hold it like a microphone.  The old one was much louder.
THE SAME - It's still huge, when you wear it everyone will want to know what it is.
NEW - the removable microphone, has a slight delay so using it across a table is not as practical as I hoped unless the person you want to listen to holds it like a microphone.  You hear both the actual and the delayed voices at the same time, even more confusing.   I sometimes do put it very close to things that I can't normally hear, like a regular telephone headset, and it works well that way.  I can put it places I can't put my ear to hear if something is making  noise.  It's not convenient to pare to several devices,

I can't pare it with a blue tooth transmitter without disconnecting my phone first and turning the blue tooth off on it, but after I pare it with another device I can then add my phone.  That's because I can't put in in the paring mode without turning it off first and when it's in the paring mode it will connect to my phone and then stop looking for other devices before I can connect them.

Its a great tool, but it could be better.
