Seven sheets of reading texts in various sizes are provided. Magnifications of 25x to 1x, referred to standard newspaper print at a viewing distance of 0.25m, are assigned to each of these texts.

The Near Vision Test Charts enable the determination of the patient's reading ability. The size of the reading print which the patient can still just see provides a direct indication of what near magnification is required to allow the reading of standard print sizes. The lateral thumb index allows fast selection of the required text groups.

The DIN A 4 test charts were made of wear-resistant plastic with laminated, dirt-repellent covers. They can be easily positioned or hung up in any location and are ready for use at any time. They are just as easy to fold up again and can be stored without taking up much space.
