When the unit receives the signal from a Silent Call smoke or fire transmitter, a red LED Fire indicator on the front of the unit shines, and the bed vibrator shakes you awake. Shaker continues until transmitted signal is cancelled.

Can be used with multiple units - just place them within 100 feet of the transmitter. Transmitter not included; keep receiver at least 10 feet from computers. No need to program unit. Can also be used with battery backup in case of power outage. Five year limited warranty.
