The wireless, single function system quickly detects smoke and then transmits a powerful signal within a 100 ft. radius to the Shake-Up receiver unit. Shake-up Smoke Detector Kit w/ Vibrator receives a fire signal from a Silent Call transmitter, it activates the bed vibrator, awakening the sleeping individual to immediately warn them of the presence of smoke. The vibrator remains running for approximately three minutes or until the user presses the reset button on the receiver. This system includes: one portable 6 audible 9-volt battery operated smoke detector with built-in transmitter, one receiver unit which plugs into any A/C outlet and one vibrator for under the pillow or mattress. The Shake-Up Receivers are designed as a single function receiver to alert a person to a fire. Please note that these transmitters and receivers are un-supervised auxiliary devices to alert a deaf or deaf-blind person to a fire.
