It's easy to use. Firmly place an article flat against the plastic window at the end of the Rainbow Color Reader. Then press the button on the top of the Rainbow Color Reader. You will hear the color announced in a female voice.

A built in belt clip lets you keep your Rainbow Reader handy on clothing, backpack strap, etc. Uses one AA battery (included). Battery compartment below clip on back of unit slides open sideways for easy battery replacement.
